It takes a commitment from both the company and all employees to create a culture of safety.
Spade Corporation is committed to constantly improving safety with one simple target in mind: zero incidents. We recognize that the facilities in which we conduct our operations contain many hazards for ourselves, our clients, and the environment in which we work and live. In order to minimize these hazards, Spade Corporation provides initial training and behavior-based safety orientation to all new employees as well as annual refresher training to keep every employee trained and up to date on the newest industry standards.
It takes more than written policy statements, manuals, and procedures to make a company safe. It takes a commitment from both the company and all employees to create a culture of safety. Every employee shares in this commitment by utilizing our skills, training, physical resources, and planning processes to mitigate actual or potential hazards and to take all measures necessary to protect the health and safety of our employees, our client’s personnel, and the general public. Spade encourages and empowers all employees to stop a project at any time should they feel the situation is or could become unsafe.
It is our belief that with all employees promoting a safety-conscious culture, participating in our and our client’s safety processes, and using prudent decision making, no harm will result from any operation we undertake. We strive to provide a safe workplace in which to conduct our business, serve our clients and in all cases, leave a worksite in better condition than we found it.
